In my internship at Prose the following tasks were my responsibility: Creation of Multi-Body simulation models and their results Supporting the construction of components of a monorail vehicle with multi-body simulations Finite Element simulations of a railway track and creation of a transfer function to judge the emission of acoustic vibrations Investigation of track positions of a tram network for the determination of critical track position errors and the determination of the permissible running speed by multi-body simulations
As a teaching assistant I organized and operated weekly classes for first year students in mechanical and civil engineering. The students were provided with exercises to the learned theory (Statics, Kinematics and Mechanics of Materials). In class exercises were discussed and solved together. The teaching job gave me the opportunity to train my teaching skills and deepen my general understanding in mechanics.
After the basic training as a soldier in Aarau, I took the opportunity to further improve my leading skills. As a sergeant I was responsible for a group of soldiers. It was my job to train them in military tactics (urban combat, base defense, patrol operations) as well as educate them in using different fire arms responsibly and safe.
