S Lay, J Lay, flex lay and reel lay experience. Including the operation, maintenance and repair ranging from Pipe laying towers, Carousel operations, Tensioner operations, Hydraulic system re-designs and setting to work specialist, Hydraulic lifts systems, offshore Marine HPU's, rigging and lifting operations and plant operation. Interested in developing career and willing to undertake any training courses, work in any country, in hostile environments or go on long rotations. Constantly aiming to broaden my Engineering skills and implement my high Engineering standards in the industrial oil and gas Industry. Always keen and never afraid to ask a question. Skills: • Currently have 7+ years experience in the oil and gas industry as a mechanical supervisor, working on pipe laying construction vessels. • Completed the Industrial Hydraulics BFPA/CETOP level 3 course in hydraulic engineering design at the NFPC. • Over 15 years engineering experience as a Leading Engineering technician within the Royal Navy, gaining extensive experience in diagnosing faults, general servicing works, commissioning of Hydraulic systems and pumps, to engine and gearbox changes. • Strong technical orientation with excellent “hands on tools” experience dis-assembling and re-assembling complex mechanical systems and in maintaining and repairing pumps, diesel engines and hydraulic power units. • A quick learner, with an analytical mind and good at problem solving whether that problem is hydraulic, electronic or mechanically related. • Excellent people skills being outgoing, easy to talk to and good with networking. • A good team player but also works well on own initiative. • A strong safety awareness working to company guidelines and commitments. • Good personal organization and communication skills.

VLS / Pipelay System Supervisor. Working on board the Normand Maximus as VLS / Pipelay System Supervisor. Working directly under VLS Superintendent. contributing to a safe system of work and assisting to ensure SIFO operations inline with company policies. Mentoring and aiding technicians to develop their skill set and broaden technical competence levels by gaining on the job experience. System onboard N-Max includes but not limited to; IMECA VLS (vertical lay system) to tension 550te. 630te A&R system (including DAF), Traction Winch and CT Take UpWinch. Tilting system 80-100 system operational range. Loading tensioner and carousel & associated equipment. Other areas of operational equipment deemed standard relative to project.
