I’m interested in how design can turn complex ideas into something people can touch, feel, and remember. Over the last fifteen years, I’ve built projects for Mercedes-Benz, Riversimple, Jaguar Land Rover, San Miguel, and the F1 Exhibition, transforming concepts into real, interactive experiences that connect emotion with innovation. Alongside my studio work, I collaborate with universities as a lecturer and mentor, helping the next generation of designers bridge creativity with strategy and purpose. Teaching keeps me grounded — it’s where I test new ways of thinking and share the belief that design is not just form, but intention made visible. As an instructor for third-year Transportation Design students, I facilitate their first experience as a studio design team. Guiding them through various stages, from mood board concepts to the final definition of exterior design, interior design, and color & trim, I act as their Design Director. However, all final design decisions are made democratically by the students through voting, with my guidance. This approach allows students to discover their individual capabilities and emphasizes the importance of experiential learning, even though they may not be the ones physically drawing.
H2X Global, an Australian automotive start-up, specializes in advancing hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs) and Fuel Cell Electric Generators. Our primary focus lies in "back to base" logistic vehicle fleets, including Buses, Trucks, Delivery Vans, and Taxis. By harnessing the power of hydrogen Fuel Cell technology, we deliver zero-emission vehicles that offer swift refueling and an extended driving range, surpassing that of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs).
In charge of developing the Human Machine Interface (HMI) for the infotainment system of our hydrogen car, I delve into user experience research and interface design. Embracing the holistic new concept of our company, I craft innovative gamification strategies aimed at encouraging efficient driving behaviors among customers. By introducing individual and collective challenges with rewards, we inspire a culture of sustainable driving. Given the rental nature of our cars, the HMI ensures seamless communication and engagement between the company and its clients throughout the journey.
