“International Political Economy of East Asia” deals with the analytical and practical dimension of national and regional policies in East Asia. Particularly Northeast Asia and the states of the PR China, Japan and the Republic of Korea, but also the increasingly integrated economic zone of Southeast Asia constitute the focus of research and teaching. The question of how politics and economics in East Asia are organised relates not only to the domestic perspective but also to the interaction with external actors.
