Offer advice and expertise to organisations to help them improve their business performance in terms of operations, profitability, management, structure and strategy. The work stretches across a variety of areas, including management, strategy, IT, finance, marketing, HR and supply chain management. The projects I am involved in and the tasks I am given depend on the area I am working on, but general responsibilities include: ► conducting research, surveys and interviews to gain understanding of the business ► analyzing statistics ► detecting issues and investigating ways to resolve them ► assessing the pros and cons of possible strategies ► compiling and presenting information orally, visually and in writing ► making recommendations for improvement, using computer models to test them and presenting findings to clients ► implementing agreed solutions ► developing and implementing new procedures or training.
- Develop ergonomic work stations / improve current work areas - Implementing new types for OEM model year changes into production lines - Responsible for new machines, incl. test equipment improvement projects. - Actively creates, maintains, and communicates project timing plans. - Effectively allocates all necessary resources for successful project completion. - Prepares and provides quotation information to Business Unit (including, but not limited to costs and timing). - Develops manufacturing concepts for new business or upgrades (from machine level to plant level). - Project management for new business or upgrades, including budget and timing tracking. - Responsible for capital investment requests, including cost tracking. - Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. - Practices innovative development and problem solving using creative methods. - Develops and updates all required process and machine documentation such as LISP, PFMEA, Process Flow Chart, Error Proofing Plan (poka yoke), spare parts lists, instructions, etc. - Supports continuous improvement projects such as scrap reduction, downtime reduction, output improvements, and PPLS. - Leads test/prototype runs and supports future development.

- Creating manufacturing Concepts for the Motor Drive Division which include Power Steering motors, Transmission motors, HVAC motors, CFM motors and ABS motors - Create specification, Routings, PFMEA (IQ-FMEA)
- Transferring DTA – manual automated transmission - Assembly Lines from Europe (Switzerland, Germany) to United States - Retrofitting Assembly Lines in Canada and United States - Upgrade production lines due to new product introductions, Output increases, Downtime reductions and Quality improvements - Create and update routings and documentation - Responsible for line support and improvement - Responsible for Process FMEA’s, Control plans, Work Instruction, Quality system procedure - Development, Implementation and Product Launch Support with customer - Resolve problems in manufacturing/assembly processes and procedures - Strong experience in 8D root cause analysis and corrective actions - Minor Programming of Siemens S7
- Trained Maintenance, Set-ups and operator for job qualifications - Supervised 3 lead technicians - Implement and perform training on automated and semi automated production lines (line equipment, handling product, quality, quantity, performance and troubleshooting) - Training in noise evaluation (basic and advanced motor noise, analyzing and problem solving) - Implementing and training of objective noise testing - Provided expertise in customer related quality issues - Created and implemented work instructions to analyze and troubleshoot production issues - Successful implementation of efficiency program in manufacturing reducing downtime and increasing production (Suggestion of the month at Siemens VDO Automotive worldwide January 2006 with cost savings of $1.2 Mill per year)
