Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area
As a pharmacy technician at Pharmacie Jean Coutu, I assist pharmacists in taking patients' orders, inputting prescriptions into the RxPro system, preparing prescription medications, and handling insurance claims. I’ve also worked in data entry and costumer service during the Quebec Covid vaccination campaign. I am passionate about healthcare and pharmacy, and I enjoy working in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. I’m currently a science student with the objective of making healthcare better, improving current treatments and also helping people live better. I am always eager to learn new skills and improve my performance. I’m also a sound tech and musician for my church in my free time! I manage and train a team of volunteers on how to use audiovisual equipment such as sound tables and understanding live sound.
• Input prescriptions into RxPro system, prepare medications, handle insurance claims, and provide customer service. • Notify patients of medication updates, ensure accuracy in labeling and dosage, and manage patient records. • Assist pharmacists in maintaining smooth pharmacy operations and ensuring patient safety.
• Managed live sound during religious activities, ensuring clear communication and problem-solving on-site. • Led a team of volunteers of all ages, teaching them how to use provided materials effectively. • Successfully managed a budget of 10 000$+ for sound equipment, optimizing resources for maximum impact.
I worked in various centres and schools in Laval during the Gouvernement du Québec’s Covid-19 vaccination campaign as a class 3 administrative agent. My role consists of registering clients and the vaccine doses that they’ve received previously. I and the health care professionals on site work together to make the vaccination process as smooth as possible whilst also informing the population on the process. A great way to give back to the local community and a awesome experience.
