About

My pre/post-doctoral professional experience relates to International Market Research / Foreign Affairs (Geopolitics, Geoeconomics) in Spain, Malaysia, Singapore, and China, Spanish-English interpreting, translating, and journalism. I also have worked in International Human Resource Training, and have 15 years of experience in Real Estate and Hospitality SMEs in Spain and the UK. A Ph.D. I was a part-time Lecturer in Spanish for Business at Bournemouth University (UK), in Strategic Marketing for the University of Derby MBA (UK) in Malaysia, and Contemporary Asian Economic History in Universidad Católica San Pablo (CEU). My Academic Research is focused on International Economic Security: the Country Brand of Spain, and the Economic Relations of Spain with South East Asia (Malaysia, Singapore), with an emphasis on the International Marketing Strategies and the Economic Diplomacy of Spanish institutions in China and ASEAN. I have lived abroad for 20 years: UK (6 full years), Malaysia and Singapore (8 years), PR China (1 year), Eastern Europe (6 months), and Finland (5 months). I am interested in any translation, interpreting, lecturing, research, or writing opportunities in the International Arena (Spanish and English), International Relations and Foreign/International Trade travel writing, Foreign Trade Marketing, or in tracking Real Estate opportunities for foreigners in Spain.
