An experienced Media & Entertainment Technology Professional with a strong track record in excess of 30 years of designing and delivering large scale media, entertainment and consumer electronics solutions for household name brands including Sony, Amazon, Warner Bros Discovery, News Corporation, HARMAN/JBL and Sky. Capable of working at all levels from strategy, partnerships, product definition, NPI, architecture and deployment planning right through to development of hard real time, cost sensitive, low latency embedded consumer electronics including expert knowledge of ARM (especially SHARC SoC, Raspberry Pi Compute Module, NXP IMX and RT family), and Audio DSP (Embedded Linux, Broadcom, Tensilica HiFi4 and ADI SHARC, JUCE) for digital entertainment solutions including HiFi, AVR, music production (hardware and software synthesizers and effects), live event visualisation (Resolume/Novastar) and digital signage. Extensive experience working with ODMs and specialist technology partners. Patent holder (one grant, one pending). I have now stepped back from full time corporate work but I remain open to consultancy for embedded development, audio DSP (HiFi and Music Production), LED Wall architecture and consumer electronics.
