I drive the full engineering cycle from guidelines, risk assessments to release, manufacturing and trial assembly. I owm the development and continuos improvement of engineering standards, ensuring technical excellence and compliance across international projects. Beyond engineering delivery, I am responsible for people management and team development: hiring, coaching and building a high performing team. I foster a culture of ownership, acountability and technical competence. Currently exploring and using AI and digital tools that enhance engineering workflows.
- Project manager responsible for the execution of vertical regrind mill projects, technically and financially. - Lease with customer's project management, lead project team (engineering, quality, procurement, logistics...) and work close with key suppliers and mill production workshop. - Equipment inspections, factory acceptance tests and packing inspections are part of customer's quality checkpoints as defined in contracts. - Introduction of ISO 9001:2015 and point of contact in regards to internal work processes, company audits and continuous improvements initiatives. - Project team member for the introduction of an ERP-system and key user for project management related topics. - Project manager for the implementation of a PLM system with interfaces to the CAD and ERP. The introduction of a document management system (DMS) to track documents, release-management and transmittals to clients is included in this ICT project. - Lead of the Change-team for the establishment of a newly found joint venture. Responsible for the operational and cultural integration of the JV in the overall project execution.
- Project manager for the engineering department. Leading the project specific engineering team with interfaces to overall project management, quality, E&I and manufacturing. - Responsible for the design of reciprocating compressors according to customer specifications. - Release of manufacturing drawings and development of manufacturing and quality related documents. - Research and devolpment of the capacity control system mounted on suction valves of compressors including performance tests on "in-house" test compressors as well as on client's site. - Worldwide installation and commissioning of the capacity control system for energy efficient use of clients compressors. - Technical sales support for the capacity control system.
