Mechanical Engineer performing roles as Piping Material Engineer and Project Engineer in Consulting Companies; executing EPC projects, basic and detail Engineering and technical proposals for the Oil & Gas industry, Petrochemical industry, mining and Power plants. Remarking the construction of pretreatment system of sewage treatment plant of Arturo Merino Benitez international airport of Chile. - Monitoring of work progress and supervision in the system construction of the sewage, raining drainage, potable water, HVAC, detection and extinction of firefighting at the ESP airport parking (total area: 62930 m2 distributed in 1 basement level + 2 above ground level + rooftop level). - Supervision and monitoring of work progress in the construction of the main potable water pumping system of the airport. - Supervision and monitoring of work progress in the construction of the pretreatment plant, sludge dryer system and hypochlorite injection system of the airport treatment plant. - Lead the development and check drawings and technical documents delivered to the client (NPU/MOP) for pretreatment plant equipment, sewage pump chambers, sludge dryer system, hypochlorite injection system, and main potable water pumping system. - Develop and review weekly activities planning for the construction of sewage pump chambers, sludge dryer system, hypochlorite injection system. - Development of procedure documents for the intervention at the changing of pump system (4 submersible pumps, 1 slide gate valve, 1 effluent basket screen) in the main sewage pump chambers, and the renovation of sludge dryer system and all equipment associated (1 power press belt filter, 1 polymer preparation system, 2 polymer injection pumps, 2 sludge pumps, 1 suppressor pumps for belt cleaning, 1 electric panel board, all piping and valve connections). - Calculation and selection of pumping systems and pumping layout. - MTO and Bill of quantity development of documentation for procurement. - Technical support to the construction team on the development of its activities and materials reception on site.
- Monitoring of work progress for HVAC piping system (building total area: 125703 m2 distributed in 9 common basement level + 6 above ground levels dedicated for mall + 3 towers of 21 level + rooftop level). - Piping and Support design for HVAC piping and duct system. - Technical rooms revision and design layout (include 37 pumps + 16 plate heat exchangers + piping pumping system located at basement level 9, 2 cooling towers 690 m3/h of water flow rate and 21687 MBH of heat rejection located at 22 rooftop level). - Development of technical bid evaluations.
- Development of HVAC and drinking water piping layout for hospital technical rooms. Integration of the planes developed for BIM coordination. - Design and selection of piping supports and equipment bases support in technical rooms. - Monitoring of work progress in the technical rooms. - MTO of HVAC, potable water, clinical gases, sewerage and rainwater facilities. - Processing, resolution and monitoring of non-conformities, design or scope of work deviations. - Development of technical specifications of firefighting equipment, temporary pumping system and submersible pumps for sewage and drainage. - Development of technical bid evaluations. - Development of technical specifications for tendering and subcontracting of works. - Development and review of project documents such as hydraulic calculations for potable water system, selection of insulation and electrical heat tracing, calculation and selection of pumps, cathodic protection specification. -Development of technical specification and data sheet of pumping systems, compressors and heat exchangers, technical specification of hopper, loss in weight and refrigerated double screw conveyor, list of piping materials and accessories, line list and Tie-ins, piping technical specifications and constructability report.
- Development of project documents such as wall thickness calculation report, pipe reinforcement calculation, special piping item data sheets, specification for valves, Pipe Tie-Ins specification, welding specification, painting specification, and others, complying agreed dates by planification and fulfilling all clients and international codes requirements. - Selections of piping class based in process parameters and support the mechanical team in the verification of material selection for the equipment involved in the projects. - Leading teams in the development of Material Take Off, Bill of material, Requisition and purchase order for successful material managements. - Support and coordination of teams in the development of Bill of quantities and items of works for technical proposal. - Setting the CADWorx material module with the project specification to enhance the productivity of the design team in the development of the 3D model achieving the best reports to properly monitoring the material and projects activities (It include the supporting of the mechanical design team in their activities). - Supporting the Piping department in the update of the company technical standard (verification list, work activities procedures, others) to improving the productivity and adapting them to the new projects requirements. - Survey information at site of existing lines, preparing isometric for demolition and elaboration of the new design in fast track project for the pumps installation and their lines associated in the Esmeraldas Refinery of Ecuador. - Technical support to the construction team in the development of its activities to meet all the requirements of quality assurance and audits.
