As a Full Stack Data Engineer, I led a comprehensive digital transformation project for a client in the HVAC sector, both retail and wholesale. My work spanned from web development to advanced data management and automation solutions. Key highlights include: Website and E-commerce Development: Designed and built the entire website using Django and FastAPI for the back-end, and HTML and CSS for the front-end. Developed a robust e-commerce platform that significantly enhanced the online shopping experience and sales capabilities. Internal ERP Development: Created and implemented a custom ERP system to manage the warehouse and coordinate with sales teams. This ERP allowed real-time stock management, optimizing operations and reducing inventory errors. Data Automation and Management: Developed and maintained ETL pipelines for integrating and managing data from multiple sources, ensuring a consistent and efficient data flow. Used Tableau and Power BI to create reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making. Chatbot Development and Integration: Implemented chatbots using GPT and integrated them with WhatsApp to convert leads into customers. These chatbots provided automated, personalized support, improving lead conversion rates and customer interactions. Teaching Python core concepts from scratch as the main programming language, providing many exercises and projects. Using Python and pandas for data analysis covering everything that pandas has to offer, from manipulating series and dataframes, to merging datasets, aggregations, filtering, sorting etc. In the last section we dive into visualization with seaborn and matplotlib. After 80 hours of teaching in which the students used the concepts to work with multiple datasets and participate in a Hackathon from glovo, real business case.
