I am in charge of the contemporary men's footwear department at El Corte Inglés. I manage a portfolio of more than 30 brands in wholesale as well as the concession business at the footwear department.
-Accountability for the Massimo Dutti Footwear Menswear collection's buying and merchandising -Collection and Design Management, creating and delivering a profitable and commercial range to maximize sales. -Preparation and management of the collection plan. -Product Development and Innovation ahead of our competitors. -Negotiation of cost prices, Margins, Deliveries, Production schedules -Development of good working relationships with suppliers -Market study and Product Adaptation as well as trends and competitors analysis. -Seasonal fashion fairs attendance. -Sales analysis and forecasts, Monitor product lifecycle, KPI’s analysis sell in, sell out, stocks, markups,, etc.). -Accountability for the Buying and Sales Budgets. -Collections’ presentations and trainings to the Country Managers and Heads of markets.
-Definition of collection structure (segmentation, product category) for B&G lines. -Definition of production and markup strategy, purchase budget, price strategy, sales forecast. -Collection development.Overseeing the entire creative and manufacturing process from concept to delivery. -Analysing past sales patterns to anticipate trends in consumer buying pattern -Optimization of product time frames and quantities: from supplier to delivery. -Monitoring fashion trends
Assigned Markets: Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru. -Definition and implementation of Strategic Commercial Plans. -Commercial management of stores in the assigned markets -Consumer behaviour and market evolution analysis.Sales monitoring. -Clearance sales management. -Definition and adaptation of the product to each market. -Fashion trends monitoring.
-Design and implementation of the national/international strategic marketing yearly plans for the promotion of Madrid as a tourist destination -Budget plan -Coordination of PR and international advertising campaigns (on & offline) -Research and negotiation of strategic partnerships with, private companies and public institutions.
