Manuel is a Law school graduate from the University of Lisbon and a Master in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics. An entrepreneur at heart, Manuel started his first business in 2017, the restaurant Mezcais LX, that company grew from 6 to 52 employees in just over two years. Since then Manuel has founded three other restaurants and is currently co-managing the restaurant Las Ficheras and the brand new Contra in the Lisbon docks. Manuel has been a rugby player for many years, playing for teams in Portugal, Argentina and the United States of America. Also represented Portugal in several occasions for the junior teams. Me and 2 friends opened our first Restaurant, Mez Cais LX, in August 2017. Due to the great response from the public we opened a second location in November. We are not stopping here!
