I am Manuel Roth, a strategic and operational consultant with a passion for the aerospace & defense industry and deep tech start-ups. My journey spans over 12 years of leadership experience, as a German Army Officer and a fruitful period in investment banking at J.P. Morgan. My advisory roles have been diverse and impactful, ranging from a strategic portfolio review for an aerospace OEMs to organizational transformations of major defense companies. I’ve also been instrumental in the largest Hungarian M&A transaction in Telco and advised a cross-border M&A for a Baltic tech start-up. My academic credentials include a Master of Laws in Mergers & Acquisitions from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the Universität der Bundeswehr München. Functional experience includes performance improvement, M&A, financial & operational restructuring, business and scenario planning as well as project and stakeholder management. Industry focus on aerospace & defense - Advised a major aerospace OEM as acquirer in a distressed M&A transaction on the operational post-merger integration of one of its suppliers. Led several workstream. Performed operational due diligence as a prerequisite for the reps & warranties insurance policy. Involved end-to-end from term sheet negotiation through signing, closing, and the post-merger integration (PMI) phase.
