From watching sci-fi movies to getting into the magical world of computer applications, I saw myself becoming a pioneer of technology from being a mere audience. My consistent hard work and immense interest in Computer Science led me to Bachelors of Computer Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology which is amongst the most reputed institutions in India and has been accredited ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Finally, I completed my bachelor by securing 8.26 CGPA out of 10. I joined HSBC Technology India in July 2018 where I worked for 1.5 years and was a part of one of the main projects 'Move Money' used worldwide for transactions. Currently, I am pursuing my Graduation in Applied computer science at Dalhousie University. During my graduate studies, I have worked on various projects that strengthened my concepts such as design patterns, SOLID principles, and made me passionate to write high-quality code by following clean code practices. I also worked on various technologies like Spring, Java, AWS, GCP, OpenStack, Python, JavaScript, Express, Node.js, HTML, Docker. I enjoy working outside my comfort zone to develop a new skillset. I consider myself an innovative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
Worked on one of the major projects ’Move Money’of Commercial Banking branch of HSBC, used worldwide for transactions. Designed and developed the application from scratch with some new features based on client requirements for countries like South Korea, Chile, and Turkey. Handled backend using MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, Java, and Spring for beneficiary Management. Improved code coverage and Quality with Junit Testing. Worked and solved production and development defects for various countries. Agile and Scrum Methodologies were followed by the team. JIRA dashboard was maintained and user stories were assigned for better performance.
