As an enthusiastic entrepreneur and learner, I am driven to explore the boundaries of possibilities and strive to exceed them. I'm the founder & chief executive officer of Astoud, a proud Vietnamese fashion and home goods retailer in North America, focused on Vietnamese design and manufacture value. Besides working at Astoud, you can catch me being a project manager and/or a creative director. My work is focused on Vietnamese identity within fashion and modern home goods, culture and community.
Astoud is a business that focuses in establishing direct relationships with Vietnamese designers and producers of high-quality textiles and household goods. Our goal is to reshape the production environment through sustainable sourcing and small business empowerment along our supply chain, while also promoting diversity, inclusiveness, and cultural integrity within the global production community.
• Developing and nurturing partnerships with vendors and venues. • Keeping clients informed of progress, including floor plans, set-up requirements, insurance needs, and other important details. • Collaborating with clients to plan and coordinate meetings and events • Supervising event management and addressing any problems that arise. • Supervising event logistics to ensure smooth operations. • Planning for unforeseen circumstances that might have an impact on the event's success. • Developing and implementing a growth plan to ensure post-event success and social growth sustainability. • Ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to the budget allotted. • Under my leadership, our art and community exhibition Archivism 2022 attracted over 2000 attendees from various provinces in Vietnam, and met sponsorship objectives through a sole sponsorship from Financial Services Company Sun Life.
• Evaluated applications and assesses candidates standards to build, expand, and maintain a proficient talent pool. • Directed the hiring procedure, which includes performing screenings and interviews. • Made use of HR analytics to improve employee performance, company capabilities, and workplace culture. • Associated with leaders to provide knowledgeable coaching and advisory counsel in order to promote a high-performing culture. • Offered direction in the day-to-day operations of the human resources division, prioritizing work to fulfill corporate HR goals, and managing leave of absence, and benefits.
• Supervised and trained new hires on product expertise to help customers with their stationery needs and close deals. • Organizing and coordinating promotions, and product assortments in conjunction with other divisions like sales, marketing, and buying. • Managing inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
