𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀. I use creativity and innovation as lenses to support projects in culture and health from their early stages — helping them grow into viable and sustainable initiatives across public institutions, companies, startups, and research environments. My focus is on studying, building, and rethinking how creativity and innovation actually happen — not as buzzwords, but as practices shaped by context, systems, and people. I’m particularly interested in what emerges when disciplines that rarely speak to each other are invited to collaborate. What I do in practice: • Building innovation from early stages. As co-founder and CSO at XarTEC SALUT, I help accelerate high-impact research and translate knowledge into viable healthcare solutions. • Bridging institutions, industry, and policy. As Head of Innovation at the Institute of Research and Innovation in Health (IRIS), UPC, I foster public–private collaborations that move ideas beyond silos and into implementation. • Creating environments for cross-disciplinary collaboration. As co-director of the HEC Montréal – University of Barcelona Summer School, I bring together diverse perspectives to rethink creativity and innovation from multiple angles. • Teaching and learning continuously. I work with students and professionals at the University of Barcelona and ESMUC, exploring innovation, organisational culture, and the management of cultural and creative industries. My background spans economics, management, and the humanities (PhD, MBA, and dual degrees), but what truly drives me is a simple conviction: creativity and innovation only create value when they connect people, disciplines, and contexts with care and responsibility. Here, I share reflections on creativity, innovation, academia, and impact, especially in times of uncertainty and transformation. I’m not interested in trends for their own sake. I care about building sustainable public value — through thoughtful, responsible innovation. If this resonates, I'd be glad to connect.
I spearhead the strategic direction and innovation initiatives within Catalonia's premier HealthTech Innovation Network. Xartec Salut, led by CREB UPC, unites 117 research groups across 29 institutions—spanning universities, technology centers, and hospitals—to accelerate the commercialization of groundbreaking healthcare technologies. In my role, I focus on fostering collaboration, driving entrepreneurship, and facilitating technology transfer. I work closely with our partners to bridge the gap between research and market-ready solutions, ensuring our innovations effectively reach those who need them most. My efforts are centered on creating a sustainable ecosystem that nurtures spin-offs and supports the entire innovation lifecycle, from ideation to market launch.
The Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering (CREB) of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) is an interdisciplinary research centre with the aim of covering the demand for R&D in the fields of biomedical engineering.

I participated and contributed to the activities organised by the department, in meetings with researchers and external meetings with key players of the video game scene in Oppland and Hedmarken regions. The main focus of my work was the study of the innovation ecosystems which connects and hybridizes with the research activity of the Department of Economics and Organization.
