Mandy Simon has more than 25-years of experience in healthcare, education and personal/organizational development. Dr. Simon's formal training is as a cardiovascular disease researcher, a nurse practitioner, and a professor. Dr. Simon spent four years traveling between Boston, Massachusetts and the United Kingdom. During which time she studied entrepreneurship at Imperial College, had her own podcast, and created an online community advancing work to support individuals build resilience to live fearless in a post-pandemic world. Clinically, Simon works on an inpatient stroke/internal medicine service with her physician colleagues. She sees over 3000 patient visits/year. She worked with Amazon Care in the start-up phases in the US to bring telemedicine services into the homes of individuals in all 50-states. She continues to support her private clients to achieve breakthrough with subconscious beliefs which create obstacles to living one's own truth. Dr. Simon previously expanded her research on stroke biomarkers to the United Kingdom (UK), while working to develop an algorithm to identify individuals in the healthy population that should be screened for incident stroke. Dr. Simon was using her original research done at Massachusetts General Hospital (in Boston), for the "at-risk" populations to create a validation tool. Dr. Simon worked for 10-years as part of a multidisciplinary team of cardiovascular disease researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in the Division of Cardiology. A research team headed by Dr. James L. Januzzi, Jr. who is a pioneer of first-in-human analysis of several novel heart failure biomarkers, including two, with regulatory approval (ST2 and Galectin-3). Academically, Simon worked as an Associate Professor of Health Informatics at Regis College. Dr. Simon's expertise is systems thinking integration & analysis in healthcare. During her tenure at Regis College, she worked as the Director of Faculty Mentoring and Curriculum Development for the Haiti Project (1st in the world program to bring bachelor level nursing education to the country). She developed the health informatics curriculum for the Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral level courses for the College of Health Professions. Dr. Simon served as a doctoral level theses supervisor, and taught the doctoral level Health Informatics courses. Prior to leaving her professorship to pursue empowering others to live resiliently, she brought the US based Health Informatics curriculum online for the masters & doctoral programs.
