I am a third-year Dual-Degree student at IIT Madras, currently pursuing Bachelors in Engineering Design alongside Masters in Computational Engineering . I am interested in Continuum Mechanics and Mechatronic Systems Design. Currently exploring the use of ML in modelling of materials and uses of said models in computational engineering, robot control and design of musical instruments.
Exploring the design and manufacturing of Indian musical instruments through FDM 3D printing. Utilizing computational and experimental techniques to analyze the properties of instruments like the veena.
Led the development of the mechanical design and sensor-control stack for an autonomous warehouse robot, while spearheading guild training programs in Mechanical Design and Electronics.
Co-invented an under-actuated hyper-redundant robotic mechanism that mimics the lateral undulation gait of snakes for efficient serpentine locomotion. Contributed to the mechanical design, kinematic development, prototyping, and validation of a bio-inspired robotic system. Patent granted by the Government of India under IIT Madras.
Designed and validated a high-torque 6-speed manual gearbox using KISSsoft, optimizing gear ratios and conducting failure mode analysis to mitigate backlash, pitting, and scuffing.
Led the mechanical design and structural optimization of competition bots for ABU Robocon 2024 and 2025, achieving high scores in technical design rounds through rigorous validation and innovative engineering.
