About

I’m a Biomedical Engineer fascinated by one question: how can AI unlock the full potential of biosignals to enable truly personalized and accessible medicine? My work sits at the intersection of AI, biosignal processing, and digital health, where I develop data-driven systems that transform physiological signals into actionable insights for healthcare. I’m particularly interested in applying machine learning to neural and physiological data to improve how we understand, monitor, and treat disease. I have worked on projects ranging from: - EEG-based deep learning pipelines for predicting antidepressant treatment response - AI-powered digital health tools, including a RAG-based psychological support system for oncology patients - VR-based brain–computer interfaces enabling brain-controlled navigation Through research experiences in Spain, Switzerland, and Germany, I have collaborated in interdisciplinary teams bridging AI, neuroscience, and healthcare, translating technical innovation into real-world health applications. Beyond research, I’m actively involved in STEM outreach, AI education, mentoring, and youth leadership as a Scout group leader, where I enjoy helping younger generations explore nature, technology and creativity responsibly. I’m always happy to connect with people working on AI/ML, healthcare innovation, neurotechnology, and biomedical data science.

Experience

  • Research Project at DeepPsy AG
    Oct 2025 - Present · 10 mos

Developing an end-to-end deep learning pipeline based on MLOps principles - as my Bachelor Thesis - to predict antidepressant treatment response from raw EEG data. Responsible for preprocessing, model development, training, and validation.

  • Undergraduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Universidad CEU San Pablo
    Oct 2025 - Present · 10 mos

I have been awarded this merit-based scholarship for the second time, enabling me to engage in research focused on the development of a prototype RAG-based conversational agent designed to provide psychological support to oncology patients, under the guidance of Abraham Otero. Additionally, I will assist second-year engineering students in Java programming labs.

  • Events Team Volunteer at AI4MED
    Jan 2025 - Present · 1 yr 7 mos

Collaborating with the events team to promote the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare. I have contributed to the organization of several events, including: - "Del Dato al Impacto: casos reales de IA en salud" (Madrid, 30/10/2025) - AI4MED participation in Codemotion Conference (Madrid, 20/05/2025)

  • Member at Nova
    Feb 2025 - Present · 1 yr 6 mos

Nova Talent is a merit-based global network that connects the top 3% of high-potential professionals to accelerate their careers through opportunities, collaboration, and personal growth. Joining Nova means surrounding myself with driven, inspiring people — and I'm excited for the journey ahead.

  • Stem Talent Girl at STEM TALENT GIRL
    Sep 2018 - Present · 7 yrs 11 mos

Since 2018 I participate in the STEM Talent Girl program by the ASTI Foundation, dedicated to closing the gender gap in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Through mentorship, masterclasses, hands-on experiences, and a support network, I gained key skills and connected with industry leaders.
