I work with CIOs and transformation leaders in regulated, content-heavy organisations to make AI practical, safe and relevant. Most AI initiatives are not a technology problem. They fail because the real knowledge of the organisation is locked away in emails, PDFs, scans, contracts, claims and case files are spread across systems that were never designed to work together. At enterprise scale, humans alone cannot sort, categorise and prepare thousands of terabytes of unstructured content. Without context, AI guesses. And in regulated environments, guessing is risk. My focus is simple and deliberate: • Connect unstructured content across fragmented systems • Turn it into trusted, usable context • Apply AI and agentic workflows where they remove friction, reduce risk and speed up decisions In my current role, I lead Hyland’s growth across EMEA and APAC, helping organisations build on what they already have, not rip and replace. And create foundations that can scale with change. Before Hyland, I led enterprise transformation and cloud journeys at Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and Rockwell Automation. Across every role, the pattern has been the same: isolated approaches fail, connected intelligence scales. A few beliefs shaped by experience: • AI only creates value when it earns trust. Without connected context, AI doesn’t scale intelligence.. it scales exposure. • Agentic automation rewards leaders who stay professionally paranoid about governance and not optimistic about demos. • Relevance belongs to the curious. Assumption is the fastest path to obsolescence. If you’re balancing AI ambition with content reality and asking, “How do we make this actually matter?” I’m always open to compare notes. Beyond work, I’m a father of two teenage sons and a marathon runner. Running keeps me honest. For transformation, like endurance, we are not looking for speed at the start. It’s the focus, resilience and finishing what you commit to that you want.
