Assist in the development of the Fishery Ecosystem Plan in support of the Ecosystem-Based Fishery Management (EBFM) in the U.S. Caribbean Region.
Conduct research to understand, explore, and analyze spatial and temporal trends in the data sets that have been compiled by the Fishery Ecosystem Plan (FEP) working group to facilitate the development of a conceptual model and ecosystem indicators that will ultimately inform the drafting of a FEP in the U.S. Caribbean.
Manage the Project H2O: Promoting Healthy Habitat through Outreach Collaboration of universities, non-profits, governmental institutions and environmental organizations to improve Volusia County's waters, with a focus on the Indian River Lagoon; initiate and execute outreach campaign of Protect Our Lagoon; coordinate the citizen science activities at the Marine Discovery Center, including water quality testing, horseshoe crab surveys, and the Florida Microplastic Awareness Project.
