About

I am a lifelong advocate, educator, and spiritual director committed to building resilient communities, nurturing justice, and protecting the natural world. With advanced degrees in both Religion and Psychology and decades of experience spanning higher education, counseling, nonprofit leadership, and ministry, I bring a unique blend of skills at the intersection of human formation and community transformation. My work has ranged from teaching and counseling to co-founding a national nonprofit that successfully challenged the fossil fuel industry, to serving on numerous boards dedicated to environmental sustainability, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and civic engagement. Whether in the classroom, the pulpit, or the public square, I am guided by a commitment to compassion, collaboration, and courage. At the heart of my vocation is a deep belief in the power of people to create meaningful change and to cultivate a world where both communities and ecosystems can flourish.
