Graduated from Flinders University studying a Diploma in Sport Management. Working within the hospitality and retail industry over the past 4 years has developed my communication and team building skills, having to multitask in high pressure environments. In addition, my passion for sport, being in a community setting, has strengthened my teamwork abilities. This passion lead me to participate in netball (for SHOC) and to youth netball coaching were I demonstrate strong leadership skills through structuring trainings and managing game days.
Responsible for providing professional and high level customer service to patrons, ensuring all food and beverage request are met. Managing bar, ensuring health and safety guidelines are successfully achieved. In addition, working individually and within a team, multitasking efficiently to achieve goals of customer satisfaction.
As a netball coach my roles include planning and running weekly training sessions along with planning a game day roster. These duties include team & player management, and equipment management. Being organised with rotations and trainings is also important in this role to ensure teamwork is successful.
Coaching a youth netball team during the winter season. As coach it was my responsibility to demonstrate strong leadership skills, structuring training and managing game days. In addition, managing players, ensuring attendance, positioning/court time and allocating each week parent voluteers to score and time.
