Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
I serve as Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon), a key enabler of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and a national platform for industrial and technological development. Over the past years, I’ve spearheaded efforts to support industrial development, logistics growth, and the expansion of technology-driven zones. These efforts have contributed to an 86% increase in factory capacity, with more than 9,500 investors now operating across 39 industrial cities. Key milestones include the inauguration of major industrial clusters, such as the world’s largest food cluster in Jeddah and the Aeropark for aviation and advanced industries. Alongside these efforts, a parallel push in the technology space has included the establishment of new technology zones, the rollout of large-scale data center projects, and growing momentum around digital infrastructure investment. With over 20 years of experience in infrastructure, logistics, and public-sector transformation, I have led complex national programs and built high-performing institutions that deliver measurable results. Prior to Modon, I held senior executive roles at the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, where I drove initiatives focused on operational excellence, policy modernization, and cross-sector collaboration. Highlights from this period include revitalizing Jeddah Islamic Port—improving revenue collection from 79% to 93% and elevating its global ranking to 8th—and contributing to the establishment of the National Road Safety Center, which supported a 40% reduction in road fatalities.
