• Help solve technically complex, strategic/high-profile or long-running customer cases that may require interaction with Software Engineering • Responsible for the customer support experience with Microsoft • Own, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues, using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices and transparency within and across teams (e.g. swarming) • Identify cases that require escalation (either technically or strategically) • Create and maintain incident management requests to product group/engineering group • Contribute to case deflection initiatives, automation and other digital self-help assets to improve customer/ engineer experience • Provide ramp activities, knowledge sharing, technical coaching and mentoring • Drive technical collaboration and engagement outside of CSS (Product Engineering teams/Services/Support/Regions) • Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles; may be workload or specialty specific.
Project: Ministry of Finance. - Works closely with business users and team members to define business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions based on SharePoint Technology. - Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverable related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements. - Involved in the full SharePoint application development life cycle. - Makes recommendations towards the development of new coding style or reuse of existing code. - Effectively create Project Plans for implementing SharePoint solutions. - Identify necessary resources and tools to develop, deploy, maintain and support SharePoint solutions. - Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge in a specific business area. - Transfer Knowledge and coach MOF junior technical staff.
Project: Ministry of Education. • Business needs analysis – work with individuals and/or departments to develop and document a clear understanding of business and information needs and potential applications of SharePoint-based solutions. • Design and implement new web based applications, or implement application changes as required, on SharePoint infrastructure. • Handle SharePoint application administration in conjunction with other system and server farm administrators. • Provide training and support to SharePoint application users. • Responsible for implementing the ongoing development of the websites and performing their day-to-day site maintenance. • Ability to debug and fix issues that arise with the performance of the website. • Set standards for design, perform navigation and browser compatibility, and perform quality-control for third party content. • Leverage web analytics solutions and help provide rich insights into website traffic and marketing effectiveness, if applicable. • Monitor, improve, and update the performance of the existing websites of the Organization; monitor web server and site technical performance. • Ensure that the websites are secure; maintain control over who has access to secured pages. • Document best practices and write maintainable development code with comprehensive comment tags. • Responsible for evaluating and identifying new technologies for implementation.
