Leasing and Factoring
Appointed to lead the design and execution of Egypt’s National Asset Monetisation Program as part of the country’s structural economic reform agenda. Responsible for developing the strategic framework governing state asset optimisation, transaction execution, investor engagement, and policy reform. • Architected the national monetisation roadmap, structuring a disciplined pipeline of state-owned assets aligned with macroeconomic priorities, capital market development, and long-term fiscal sustainability. • Led financial, strategic, and operational assessments of State-Owned Enterprises (SoEs) to determine monetisation readiness based on value optimisation potential, sectoral relevance, and governance preparedness. • Supervised end-to-end execution of complex transactions, ensuring transparency, competitive processes, international standards of governance, and maximisation of sovereign shareholder value. • Advised on the competitive selection and appointment of leading international investment banks, global legal counsel, and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), reinforcing institutional credibility and investor confidence. • Conducted high-level engagement with global institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, and strategic partners through international roadshows and bilateral negotiations. • Represented the Government of Egypt in discussions with international financial institutions, including the World Bank and IMF, articulating reform milestones and monetisation strategy within the broader macroeconomic framework. • Contributed to the enhancement of the State Ownership Policy, supporting structural reform and recalibrating the state’s role in commercial sectors.
