With a background in Physics, I developed a strong analytical and research-oriented approach to understanding complex information. My academic training strengthened my ability to question assumptions, evaluate evidence critically, and approach issues with logical precision. Driven by a growing interest in journalism as a means to serve the collective public good, I made a deliberate transition into media. I pursued a six-month Applied Journalism course that equipped me with practical skills in news writing, reporting techniques, media ethics, press standards, and structured storytelling. The program enabled me to translate analytical thinking into clear, responsible public communication. I further advanced this path through an internship with a fact-checking unit, where I worked on verifying viral claims, tracing original sources, applying digital verification tools, and analyzing misleading narratives. Alongside verification work, I also contributed to media literacy initiatives aimed at helping audiences identify misinformation and understand responsible information consumption. My focus remains on ethical journalism, accountability, and strengthening public trust through evidence-based reporting and media literacy.
