Worked with the Risk Compliance and Anti Financial Crime department for 8 months Projects: 1. Case Manager (GraphQL, Java11, Spring boot, Angular, Kubernetes, Jenkins CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana): Worked on developing personalization API, improving CI/CD pipelines and observability of the entire microservice architecture. 2. Holistic Search (Solr, GraphQL, Java11, Spring boot, Angular, Kubernetes, Jenkins CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana): Lead backend developer and gatekeeper for developing and build API around Solr. Implemented hexagonal pattern for extensibility. Functionally implemented everything with high importance to tests, coverage, and smells. Improved pipelines to put more stringent checks.
Worked with the Accounting and Subledger team in Finance IT for 2.5 years Projects: 1. AcS Test Automation (Python, Flask, Javascript): Spent first 6 months as part of the graduate training program, working on test automation of the entire application, which involved complex business flows. Was awarded spot recognition award for completing the task in a given time frame. Enhanced the automation framework, by including a synthetic data generator 2. Daily Close (Java, Spring boot, Hadoop, Spark, Openshift): Joined as a full stack developer in one of the feature teams, worked on business onboarding and developing backend solutions for banks strategic data migration project. The project aimed at standardizing the end to end reporting of all bank's financial products 3. Dbus JMS migration (JMS, ActiveMQ, Spring batch, Spring integration, Weblogic, Java, Openshift): Lead a team of 3 graduates to design and deliver a solution to migrate from legacy queuing mechanism to open source solution with Apache Active MQ. Developed a solution to support 800 active multi-tenant connections Apart from projects actively contributed to: 1. Mentoring interns and guiding them through the projects, often as SME (Java, Python, Angular, CI/CD) 2. Actively participated in various technical communities of practices, delivered sessions on new technologies. (Quarkus, Jenkins-X, DevOps, GraalVM, FastAPI) 3. Led the graduate hiring drive for two years, by setting up online tests.
Part of the andriod platform team as an Intern for 2 months Project: 1. Content Based Information Retrieval System for Samsung Search (Python, Java, Weka): Worked on developing algorithms to build content based information retreival system for Samsung Search. Developed various prototypes using python and ported the models to Java for android applications. The clustering algorithm developed using expecation maximization helped improve the content similarity by 22%
