Hardware and PCB design engineer turning complex electronics into shipped products — with 5+ years of international experience across Bangladesh, Malaysia, and South Korea. I specialize in high-speed and mixed-signal PCB design, multi-layer HDI stack-ups, microprocessor System-on-Module (SoM) development, power electronics, and signal and power integrity. Across my career I have taken products end-to-end — from concept and schematic capture, through layout and simulation, to lab validation, prototype bring-up, and production support. A few projects I'm proud of: ▪ Designed an NXP i.MX 8M Plus System-on-Module (SODIMM form factor) with 8 GB LPDDR4X and integrated wireless connectivity for AI edge computing and machine vision. ▪ Engineered a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 industrial router platform on Qualcomm IPQ5018 + QCN6122 with QCA8337 Ethernet switch and dual M.2 LTE/4G/5G modem expansion. ▪ Developed an FPGA-based DSP system on Xilinx Artix-7 with ESP32 wireless integration and SD Express high-speed storage. ▪ Built IoT-enabled appliance control systems supporting both induction relay and inverter-based BLDC compressor architectures (STM32G0, PIC32, ESP32-S3 platforms). ▪ Delivered 40+ freelance hardware design projects for international clients across Europe, North America, and Asia. My toolkit: Cadence Allegro X / OrCAD X, Cadence Sigrity Aurora for SI/PI simulation, Altium Designer, and KiCAD. I design to IPC-2221, IPC-A-600, and IPC-A-610 standards, with hands-on experience across LPDDR4X, MIPI, HDMI, LVDS, PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and a wide range of wireless protocols (Wi-Fi 6, BLE, NFC, LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT). I'm open to new hardware engineering opportunities — full-time, contract, or consulting. If you're building something interesting in PCB design, embedded systems, or hardware product development, I'd love to connect. Portfolio: mahedhi-hassan-fahim.github.io Email: [email protected]
