I didn't enjoy coding when I first started learning it 8 years ago. I kept learning basic concepts in different programming languages, but nothing ever stuck with me. It felt like I was learning. I felt productive. But I couldn't actually build anything. I would freeze up and feel paralyzed whenever I had to build something from scratch. That all changed when I discovered front-end development. I started focusing entirely on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I approached every challenge as a solveable problem, and over time, my skills began to accumulate. Eventually, I could build entire websites from scratch. I could start with an empty text file, and within a very short amount of time, have a website online for the whole world to see. I was hooked. Over the following years I've spent a large amount of time and effort growing my front-end development toolbox, to the point where I'm now very comfortable with: → Creating semantic and accessible websites with HTML → Implementing any custom design with CSS, including transitions and animations → Developing complex web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue and React → Using my problem solving and communication skills to tackle any web-related challenge → Shipping high quality and performant websites for everyone to use → Sharing my knowledge, learnings and experiences online for others to benefit So, if you're interested in web development and want to take your career to the next level, you're in the right place.
