I am passionate about quality communication in every aspect of my life, especially in using my skills and knowledge of strategies to create a positive impact. My professional interests guide me to seek out organizations that prioritize education, international collaboration and the furthering of social good. Throughout my time at Louisiana State University (LSU), I have gained enthusiasm for relationship-building and event planning. I have also developed a strong interest in the nonprofit sector. During my academic career, I have gained hands-on experience as a Social Media Manager for Songy Family EyeCare as well as Unbranded, a nonprofit organization in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge area. I had the opportunity to be solely in charge of creating engaging content and campaigns in order to drive engagement and increase traffic for both brands. In my role as a Communications Intern at LSU’s Ogden Honors College, I was assigned various projects that fine tuned my photography, writing, and content creation skills. I also spent time with LSU’s Campus Life department, gaining a greater understanding of event planning and building professional relationships. As a current public relations senior at LSU with a minor in Italian, I am is set to graduate on May 16, 2025, with a bachelor’s degree. I intend to continue my education through LSU’s graduate program to obtain a master’s degree in strategic planning, and then pursue a career that combines my passion for communication and advocacy. Lead content creation and social media management efforts for a French-Creole seafood bistro, developing and executing a strategic content plan consisting of four weekly posts, including short-form video content. Produce on-site photography and videography, manage content scheduling, write platform-specific messaging, and oversee community engagement across social channels.
