  • Software Engineer Intern at Siemens Digital Industries Software
    Jan 2022 - Aug 2024 · 2 yrs 8 mos

I completed four software development co-ops at Siemens Digital Industries Software, beginning in the spring of 2022. Two of my co-ops were centered around maintaining and modifying C++ APIs for Siemens NX to incorporate more modern object-oriented design. Additionally, one co-op I worked with designing AWS Cloud APIs based upon agile development models with the utilization of Node.js, Knex.js queries, Docker containers, PostgreSQL relational databases, and Postman calls. For my final co-op, I worked internationally with a team in Madrid, Spain focusing on conducting in-depth research on the performance of the GUI-based exposure testing tools and implementing Python Robocorp to design and develop automated UI workflows. During school semesters, I continued to work part time.

    • Teacher Assistant
      Aug 2021 - Dec 2021 · 5 mos

In the fall of my second year of college, I worked as a Teachers Assistant for a freshman engineering course at the University of Cincinnati. Throughout this experience, I helped students on engineering tasks twice a week during 2-hour class periods and attending weekly meetings with other teachers assistants and faculty. I also graded students’ homework and exams with both accuracy and precision in a timely fashion, and built and facilitated informative presentations for students about college fundamentals.

      May 2021 - Aug 2021 · 4 mos

During the summer between my first and second year of college, I worked as a student researcher in the Protégé Program at the University of Cincinnati. Through collaboration and guidance of faculty, I created a graphical representation of the projectile motion of a flapping-wing micro air vehicle in OpenGL based upon pre-written code in the language C. In doing so, I deeply analyzed the C coding language, Linux operating system, and OpenGL graphics library. At the end of the semester, all participating students presented upon their work, and my research placed as second runner-up at the symposium.
