I’m Madi, and I lead talent programs at Wealthsimple 🚀 I get to work on the coolest programs around, like our internship and Launchpad programs, designed to give early talent real ownership, real work, and real impact. Building things is my jam 💪🏽 Outside of work, I recently completed my Master's of Adult Education at the University of Toronto and I'm on a mission to hit my yearly reading goal. I'm deeply rooted in community — whether in Hamilton 🔨 or through career coaching young professionals as they write their own career stories.
- Created the curriculum for the Workplace Preparation course that is taught to Office Administration students - Teach Recruitment & Selection to students within the Human Resources Management Post-Graduate program
- Led the creation of career development curriculum that embraces personalized support, lived experiences of job seekers, and unique learning styles - Foster relationships with partners to strengthen Juno's mission of changing the face of tech - Coach up to 50 job seekers as they begin their career as front-end developers. Includes the creation of individualized job search strategies and 1:1 appointments
- Led the creation of Talent Bridge, including a transition to online due to COVID - Facilitate job-readiness workshops & provide 1:1 mentorship with the 20-person cohort, ensuring individualized career support for participants - Ensure up-to-date analysis of labour market trends to ensure curriculum aligned with current market needs - Creation of partnerships with 14 employers while securing 20 employment opportunities for program participants in the first cohort of the program
