During this internship I used my exquisite skills of analytical thinking, problem solving and secondary research to facilitate stakeholder engagement, collaboration and interrelation by making company profiles. Apart from these skills of data analysis and data visualization were used as well to ensure proper analysis. Industry analysis combined with supply chain analysis wasdone as well to pitch, promote and facilitate FDI. I worked on teams in both North America and Europe. My scope of research was spread across sectors & domains. I presented detailed analysis of supply chains of coffee industry, solar energy, wind power and hydropower industry along with EV, hydrogen fuel and lithium ion industry
As a part of this, I used advanced excel functions to cross check payments made by the corporation, helped in making statements of reconciliation between the banks and IOC. Used the SAP software at a rudimentary level along with the internal software of Indian Oil(PACE) to cross check balance sheets and payment receipts. At the same time excel was used for the payroll section as well. This helped in understanding the in-house financing of the Oil and Gas industry.
I got the opportunity to work with clients that needed their problems solved. Apart from assisting clients in meeting their goals, I assisted in writing Op Ed, Research reports etc. I wrote an Op Ed on the Bharat-Pe controversy. I also significantly contributed to the Research report to be released after the end of quarter. I was the host of the panel discussion & networking session organised.
As a part of this venture, we were given the opportunity to create and run a MSME enterprise with the help of the limited resources. We created a small business by using resources available easily. Our business aimed to address the problem of climate. change and wastage of resources. It focuses primarily on creating new products , created out of waste paper mixture. We created a variety of products including jewellery , pencils etc. All our actions were carried on according to the business plan. This business plan was well illustrated with graphs , charts and info graphics. Accompanied by the usage of financial models , it helped us to clearly carve out our goals and targets.
