Hi, I’m Maddi! Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’ve always had a deep love for sports (go Niners!) and a passion for storytelling. With over a decade in media, entertainment, and sports, I’ve honed my skills in crafting compelling narratives and delivering engaging content. My journey has taken me from producing captivating stories and campaigns to exploring the dynamic world of AI and SaaS startups. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Communications, I dove headfirst into the world of sports and news media. I spent nearly six years at Spectrum Networks (Charter Communications), home to the Lakers and Dodgers RSNs, leading campaigns featuring legends like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Clayton Kershaw. I also helped launch LA’s top-rated 24/7 news network, sharpening my skills in content strategy and creative production. Curious about the future of media and tech, I discovered TwelveLabs—serendipitously—while they were in the middle of a hackathon and I was on a walk with my family and pregnant with my second child. Captivated by the mission, I made the leap into the AI startup world. Now, I’m energized by building cutting-edge tools that empower creators and revolutionize how we understand and use video.
