Hello, my name is Maddy! I am currently pursuing a Master's in Computational Media (CM) with a focus in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) with the Tech4Good Lab in the Baskin School of Engineering. As a researcher in CM and HCI, my work in the Tech4Good lab has focused on user research and design, conducting qualitative analysis to understand our computational systems and translate them into effective solutions that address needs and promote change. My research interests lie in designing systems that empower individuals to set and achieve meaningful goals, and understanding how digital platforms influence users' perceptions of their own capabilities.
