I am a research coordinator at the University Washington Medical Center and work on multiple clinical trials and other studies aiming to improve health outcomes among individuals with cystic fibrosis. I am also a team photographer for the Seattle Sounders and Reign FC, and have freelance experience on assignments for the Associated Press, Getty Images, WNBA, and other clients.
Identify, screen, and recruit subjects for 20+ studies involving adults with cystic fibrosis, bilateral orthotopic lung transplants, non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, and healthy volunteers. Centrifuge, aliquot, store, and ship serum, plasma, buffy coat, and urine samples in accordance with research protocols and institutional laboratory safety protocols.
Supported participant coordination, including scheduling study visits, preparing visit materials, assisting with the consenting process, and maintaining accurate study files. Entered study data into REDCap and Medidata and performed routine quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Photographed content for global distribution with skills in photo editing software, metadata application, and FTP management. Ensured timely uploads of images in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Published in the New York Times, Seattle Times, Washington Post, and more.
