PROFET model utilises gradient flow and AI to examine how gene expression levels change during cancer I assisted with the codebase and wrote code to evaluate model performance and accuracy Research paper titled “PROFET Predicts Continuous Gene Expression Dynamics from scRNA-seq Data to Elucidate Heterogeneity of Cancer Treatment Responses” is undergoing peer review in Nature Biotech. I am listed as an author. https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2025.06.27.662030v1

Modelling the Motion of Cells in an Electric Field - My research utilizes a deep attention network (AI) on the Princeton supercomputer to deduce the rules underpinning collective motion of MDCK cells in an electric field. I fixed a former lab member’s deprecated AI model, linked to her PhD thesis, and continued her research. My research was highly commended in the SPGS Senior Scholarship Competition. Cell Scratching Device SCRATCH - I collaborated with the other intern in the Cohen lab to design a machine which creates uniform wounds in petri dishes of cells, to study the biology of wound healing. We modified a drawing machine to create a high-precision, high-throughput, 3-dimensional cutter. I built an image analysis pipeline in FIJI (ImageJ), MATLAB and Python to quantify the variation in our wound dimensions. Our research was published in Cell Reports Methods, linked below. https://www.cell.com/cell-reports-methods/fulltext/S2667-2375(24)00305-9
