• Leading Engineering streams for selected EMEA regional activities and cross-site projects • Developing, implementing and overseeing production automation strategy and delivering on key targets for cost, quality and safety. • Planning and management of the capital plan for the plant, defining factory roadmap, monitoring the implementation, proposing improvements when required; ensuring best practices at all times. • Responsible for managing day-to-day activities of the engineering team. Setting goals, priorities, monitoring progress and evaluating performance of staff to ensure the maximum benefit of the resources expended. • Providing engineering, professional and technical leadership to interdisciplinary teams (Engineers, H&S, Manufacturing, Quality) working on the capital plan implementation. • Preparing and managing the Capital Proposal’s budget; ensuring that projects are planned properly to provide sufficient funding and reviewing data to ensure that the results are achievable. • Creating and managing operating budgets and capital budgets for Engineering with other leadership team members. • Ensuring that all engineering processes are properly documented and that all the regulatory project documentation is submitted to the relevant local and national institutions in a timely manner.
