Sales engineer and technical sales support
As sales manager I evaluate business opportunities linked to customer Stellantis and and I clarify sales business frame with business unit (BU). I'm responsible for the commercial aspects of vehicle motion products (Vehicle dynamic sensor and conventional vacuum booster portfolio). I lead the achievement of commercial objective and targets of assigned products / components including escalation from customer/BU. I support preparation, tracking and analysis of economic data about business development and performances, with specific focus on Revenues, EBIT, P&L and OTP, Price list preparation. I'm responsible for the data preparation and analysis of business status and to prepare quotation, release documentation and approval towards customer in alignment with PRM/BU/customer team: to prepare GoToMarket strategies for BBM initiative, Track phase-in phase-out of the products and start of production to keep RB/customer SOP, Present quotation to the customer and receiving order / signing contract / RASIC using dedicated tools/docs in order to assure timely implementation in Production plants.
Sales engineer reports to key account managers inputs and feedback about strategic business development of all potential customer and consolidate existing customer relationship in Italy. As a technical sales support I’m responsible of specific family of instrumentation test system of products in particular fuel consumption measurement instruments, combustion pressure sensors, devices of input charge and analog signal acquisition (also power analyzer at high frequency rate) and real time processing SW of combustion and electrical parameters. The main application in automotive business industry is ICE, Fuel cell, H2 ICE, electrification platform. As strategic and business development tasks I ensure the satifying feedback from the customer and high profitability. As Operational tasks I assist my responsible giving information from product side in terms of sales presentations, product launches, marketing actions, customer visit plans, status of quotation offers by RFQ, information of monthly order intake and opportunity advancing to achieve the target fixed during the year. At least cotinuous allignments with HQ colleagues of business unit in order to discuss of general business in other markets, competitor status and allignments with product manager to support in customer activities demonstration of new instruments.
Technical consultant for Automotive sector (AIT division)
Test facilities engineer - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Test emission and fuel consumption on rolling bench - Plan activity of test emission and fuel consumption on commercial vehicles according to new European emission standard (CE 1151/2017) WLTP and NEDC. - Management of rolling bench test emission and recording data test cycle on vehicle using ECU interface program (INCA) for Application customer engineering support. - Analysis on data of test emissions and fuel consumptions for homologation vehicles (passenger cars) Workshop, metrology and durability - Status overview for test bench and planning on engine teardown and cells intervention. - Kick off planning on change of engine set up in test bench. - Monthly monitoring on whole workshop activities and management on request of intervention. - Cooperation with test engineer, reliability test bench, engine set up, maintenance, automation & equipment reliability, instrumentation & electrics.
- Management of engine test cells and on the "durability" according with standard tests for the category of Gasoline Engines for North America market. - Using Engine control unit interface programs (INCA, INDICOM) and management test cells (ASPI). - Acquisition Engine and bench control parameters in real time (AVL Concerto). - Analysis on the components during and at the end of the test of validation with test report.
- Management review contribution through Engine product team, problem solving activities during Early Warning team and ATS QIT. - Emerging issues analisys during developments phases of fleet validation for new project and risk assessment on new components related to ATS architecture. - Weekly update on issues related failure components during development. - Analysis on KPI (F100/ACPU) current production failure ATS system.
