About

I'm a cybersecurity specialist with a strong foundation in network security, threat analysis, and security architecture. While completing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity degree, I acted as a CISO in a team project to design secure networks and implement risk mitigation strategies. At Verizon, I was a Security Architect in Product Security, conducting security reviews for over 40 products. I identified vulnerabilities and collaborated with product teams to enhance security. I took on side projects in pen testing, remediating Apache Log4j vulnerabilities, and conducting analysis to reduce QRM scores on high-risk products. As a Wireless Solutions Architect in Pre-sales Solution Engineering, I designed and implemented secure network solutions for small business and government clients by presenting customer solutions, demos, and proposals and preparing RFP responses. My role was instrumental in deploying the first Secure Cloud Interconnect (SCI) network with Google Cloud. Outside of corporate roles, I manage the Sapphire Banquet Hall and Conference Center, overseeing operations and the implementation of IT solutions, such as website security and CRM systems for the family business. This position involves budgeting, revenue analysis, and vendor negotiations as well. I am pursuing the CompTIA Security+ certification and have completed ethical hacking and security courses. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, I speak five languages: English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and Spanish, and I enjoy communicating across diverse teams and cultural backgrounds.
