General: -Reviews and asses the design of a new product in an early stage of development on manufacturing and assembly aspects to ensure good quality and keeps doing that till ramp up of production -Establishes the TPD structure for a new product in consultation with R&D and logistics -Set up the assembly method, test philosophy, process routing and production environment for a new product. -Specifies, orders and test production means. -Originates new work and assembly instructions. -Accompanies the proto /0-series production -Responsible for phase in / phase out of product changes. -Initiates new production processes for new products -Initial product quality and setting up KPI’s for new products -Specifies orders and test transportation means for production Operational -Maintains work- and assembly-instructions. -Investigate and solves product or production problems and prevent reoccurrence of such problems -Responsible for phase in / phase out of product changes. -Accompanies the proto /0-series production after product changes -Initiates process changes -Setup / Maintain calibration system -Setup and maintain identification and database systems -Maintain and improve the quality KPI’s
