After 8 years of fisheries research at the Ghent University and Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (ILVO) and an adventure with a startup company with 2 friends (SEMTECH), I started a tree nursery in 2021 focussing on producing high quality espalier fruit trees (mainly apple and pear) and grafted (chest)nuts. I try to combine this more practical and outside work with freelance consulting activities related to marine research.
