• Build drug product manufacturing team focused on drug product manufacturing process tech transfer, scale up and cGMP manufacturing operation. • Recruit, train and retain a high performance technical team. Create a safety culture, enforce safety measures and ensure staff working in a safe environment. • Develop talent and capabilities of the drug product manufacturing team, and align with Site and Corp employee training and development policies. • Establish Drug Product manufacturing operation system including but not limited to operation documentation/training system, project production schedule, shift function arrangement/performance tracking, department budget preparation and control, and provide continuous improvement recommendations. • Responsible to lead and oversee drug product fill finishing cGMP manufacturing day to day operation according to site manufacturing project plan, quality systems and regulatory requirements to ensure excellence in the delivery of project goals. • Drive site defined operational excellence methodologies throughout responsible function operations to meet quality and efficiency targets • As a site leadership team member, actively work with other site function leadership committee members to resolve the site issues and enhance the site quality/efficiency and collaboration across departments. • Conduct effective communication internally and externally to ensure alignment DP Manufacturing function policies and procedures with company global site operation, industry best practice and client project requirements. • Apply industry technical knowledge and experience to support Drug product manufacturing design support, equipment qualification/validation and operation readiness. • Performs other duties as assigned.
• Investigating new biomass fractionation, and conversion chemistry to valuable fuel and chemicals. • Developing new analytical method (including in-situ carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen NMR) for intermediate and products from biomass degradation. • Construction and operation of lab-scale and demonstrate scale FBCR (Fixed bed continuous reactor) for catalytic oxidative depolymerization or hydrogen reductive depolymerization of biorefinery lignin • Identifying new material & chemical opportunities from biobased compounds.
Postdoctoral Research Associate: Key member of the research team responsible for developing and investigating new potential chemistry route to convert woody biomass natural resources into valuable products including fuels, chemicals and renewable materials at Bioproducts Science and Engineering Laboratory (BSEL), a world-class applied research facility founded by WSU and PNNL. My research covers broad topics including better utilization of forest and crop waste, developing new green solvent system for crop component fractionation, and developing catalytic processes to enhance the crop conversion to products.
