As an FTS Advisor and certified SAFe Release Train Engineer, Advanced Scrum Master, and PO/PM with 18+ years of experience, I specialize in leading high-performing teams through complex digital transformations across oil & gas, energy, crop science, and medical support sectors. My work sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. Whether I’m standing up a PI Planning event for 80+ practitioners, coaching a struggling team through a delivery bottleneck, or helping platform teams turn raw data into actionable business intelligence, I focus on one thing: making the work flow and the value land. Currently supporting four platform teams delivering data and analytics services across a large-scale finance platform — partnering with Product Managers, architects, and senior stakeholders to align priorities, remove impediments, and build the team health that sustains performance over the long haul. Previously I’ve led global R&D delivery at Bayer and worked across energy, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and consulting — giving me a cross-industry lens that most RTEs don’t have. I’m not interested in Agile for its own sake. I care about teams that ship, stakeholders who trust the process, and organizations that actually improve — not just ones that go through the motions. Let’s connect if you’re building something worth scaling.
Right now I’m embedded with four platform teams delivering data and analytics services to a finance platform. A big part of my focus has been bringing real clarity to the portfolio backlog — helping leadership actually see what’s being built and why it matters. I keep the leadership team locked in on dependencies and progress toward objectives while supporting our team members to do what makes sense.
Led a 60+ person release train through a capital project bringing real-time onboard and app-based notifications to Amtrak customers. My focus was on getting the team healthy before the work started — coaching POs, PMs, and team coaches to build backlogs that were actually executable, not just full. Spent a lot of energy clearing organizational friction so teams could do their best work.
Served as RTE for an SAP S4 HANA enterprise upgrade with 80+ team members across six teams, integrated into a broader program with five other ARTs. We delivered 120+ high-value features across 90+ workstreams in 10 months and grew velocity by 20%. Also wore the Scrum Master hat for teams on the Supply and Trading Platform — real-time data tools for trading floors where accuracy and speed genuinely matter.
Coached three fully remote teams simultaneously — 24 people total — while helping the organization move toward a genuinely agile way of working, not just agile terminology. Started a cross-team stakeholder forum that became the heartbeat of the company’s primary initiative. Also built an “Agile Foundations” community of practice from scratch for people who were new to agility or had gaps. That one was personally rewarding.
