Siddharth Sharma is currently pursuing his Master's in Cyber Security from New York University and earned his Bachelor's in Software engineering from Delhi Technological University(Formerly DCE) in 2015. He currently works as a Network Security analyst at NYU IT and Penetration Tester for a startup LeagueSX and also participates in CTF conducted by OSIRIS Lab at NYU. Before starting his Master's, Siddharth worked at Newsbytes App where he engineered the cloud infrastructure and developed the front and backend for CMS and Mobile & Web app. He also did a Security internship at Microsoft.

● Currently, working on the auditing 802.1X exception - which will help in improving the overall state of the network and how allowed exceptions are handled in the network. ● Working on creating a centralized policies which will be consumed by different networks to allow devices onto a network/dedicated VLAN. ● Developed the initial Risk engine to for handling the exception.
1) Extensive testing on user-facing API to find OWASP top 10 security Bugs. 2) Helped fix API exposing user data, to an unauthorized user. 3) Conducts the brainstorming session with developers to uncover security issue as well as the development issue, which helped in fixing the login issues.
Built a system for automating the generation of news articles using machine learning and natural language processing from various news links. The system answers the specific set of questions which constitute the template. Each template is a particular report type, for example, Product release news, Startup funding news. Modeled the tools to automate most of the mundane work to reduce human intervention, thereby increasing the efficiency by 100%. Engineered & implemented the complete architecture of the content management system. Singlehandedly enabled Newsbytes to become the first Indian content based company to release their Facebook bot, which got covered by Forbes, and publish bots on slack and telegram.
Developed an Online Restaurant Management System, using Agile Software Development Methodology. Developed the system including all necessary documentation required as per Object Oriented Software Development Approach.
