I started in the field of Real Estate in 1999 as an analyst for an acquisition and development firm, and later worked for Cambridge Realty Capital as a Senior Associate responsible for HUD and FNMA loan originations and underwriting for a number of mid-large size multifamily and health care properties. In 2002, I joined a local property management firm as Property Manager of a 250 unit portfolio of apartments in Chicago and Springfield, IL. In 2005, I transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer, where I oversaw operations of a 1,500 unit apartment portfolio in multiple locations. In 2008, I left to start my own firm, MDK Properties, and soon thereafter partnered with my longtime friend and colleague in the field, Max Levin. In 2009 we purchased a 100 unit Senior Independent Living rental property in Green Bay, WI called Moraine Ridge (www.morainecare.com), acquired through a strategic partnership arrangement. Our group manages day-day operations and the project has since been converted to serve the needs of the Assisted Living community. In July 2010, MDK became M2 Property Group, and we extended our services to include residential and commercial brokerage services in the Chicagoland area. Since then M2 has expanded it's property management division to over 25 properties, totaling 6,000+ apartment units througout the Midwest. In 2017 Inspired Senior Healthcare was launched to focus on seniors housing and healthcare, specifically offering Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living services.
