About

Passionate about aviation and spaceflight. I enjoy working on external aerodynamics, internal fow analysis, CFD simulations, heat transfer analysis as well as working on product management.

Experience

  • Isar Aerospace (5 yrs 3 mos)
    • Fluid Dynamics Engineer
      Jan 2022 - Present · 4 yrs 6 mos

Working on the developement of the orbital launch vehicle "Spectrum": - Numerical, analytical and semi-empirical analysis of external aerodynamics (e.g. mechanical and thermal loads from subsonic to hypersonic flight regimes, aerodatabase creation, support for design engineers). - Numerical, analytical and semi-empirical analysis of internal flows (e.g. propellant system, pressurization system, compartment ventilation system, propellant tank vortex formation and temperature stratification, multiphase flows and conjugate heat transfer analysis). - Responsible for the aerodynamic and aerothermal test flight instrumentation. - Product owner of the anti-vortex systems: Responsible engineer for the entire developement of the anti-vortex systems for all four propellant tanks.
