Léo Yiğit Ekiz, born in Istanbul in 1988, is a multidisciplinary artist whose journey into photography and visual arts began in 2006, when he started working as an assistant to the Photographer-Architect Elio Montanari. His passion for the medium led him to Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, where he specialized in Photography. Demonstrating exceptional talent, he was one of only two students from Turkey invited to study at the University of Udine through the International Peace Student Project. Ekiz spent six formative years immersed in Italy's vibrant artistic community, honing his craft and engaging with diverse cultural and creative perspectives. His work blends photography, video art, and audiovisual projects, reflecting his deep interest in human experiences, philosophy, politics, and independent filmmaking. Now based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ekiz continues to use his lens as a tool to explore identity and foster global artistic dialogue. Ekiz finds inspiration in books, music, philosophy, and cinema, combining these interests with his creative practice to push boundaries in contemporary art. Designed, architected, and developed "Iris Baby Tracker," a comprehensive, responsive Progressive Web Application (PWA) to monitor infant development metrics. Technical Stack: • Frontend: Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), Tailwind CSS (Dark/Light mode), HTML5. • Backend & Auth: Firebase (Firestore NoSQL Database, Firebase Authentication with Google OAuth & Email). • Libraries: Chart.js for data visualization, Day.js for temporal manipulation, Canvas Confetti.
